Jonathan Creekmore, a graduate of the University of Alabama in Huntsville, has spent the last 17 years as an embedded systems and security engineer. He is one of the principal system designers for Star Lab’s Crucible, a secure virtualization platform for technology protection and system integrity of defense systems. His newly published book, Step Ahead with Rust, aims to help the reader move from writing programs to building software in Rust. The book highlights some of the most important features of the Rust language, including cargo, type system, iterators, and more.
